New Series: Kingdom Manifesto
Everyone has a vision for their own personal Kingdom, but what was Jesus' vision for His Kingdom. What did He say about how the world was supposed to work, what life was supposed to be like and what kind of people would inhabit His Kingdom. Join us, starting September 30th, as we go through the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7), Jesus' Kingdom Manifesto.
Come join us on Saturday, October 27th starting at 4 pm for a community bonfire at the home of Phil & Allison Alford. We will have hot dogs to roast, S'mores and other snacks. So bring your own chair and something to drink and come enjoy a (hopefully) cool autumn evening together.
Join us each Wednesday evening (except for the last Wednesday of the month) from 6:15-7:30pm for our Crock Potluck dinner and bible study in the Fellowship Hall. Throw something in the crockpot before you leave for work in the morning and bring it with you at 6:15pm, we'll eat together and then share testimonies and be encouraged by Scripture.
On the last Wednesday of every month, we are moving our Wednesday evening gathering to Tuesday evening at the Outreach Center on East Flemming Drive to serve our community in their monthly food distribution. We live in an increasingly Post-Christian world, and rather than stressing ourselves out trying to figure out how to get people to come to our Churches we believe that we should be going where they are. Each Tuesday over 1000 people participate in the monthly food distribution. We have an opportunity to serve, pray with and build relationships with these people for the sake of the Gospel. Stay tuned for more Kingdom Initiative opportunities coming soon.
